Use & Taste

The flower petals with their slightly aromatic bitterness are used in fish and meat soups, rice dishes and salads. They are also used to add colour to cheese and butter. Already during the Middle Ages, the entire flower was used to garnish dishes.

The flower petals have a sharp, spicy taste.
